The purpose of life is to make friends and enjoy life together with them. Some might think making friends is the easy part. Well it is not. What exactly does the word Friend mean?

Friendship is the term used to denote co-operative and supportive behaviour between two or more beings. Friends will welcome each others company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, often to the point of altruism. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviours. Yet for many, friendship is nothing more than the trust that something or someone will not harm them.

Life is what makes us suffer with its poison and injuries.

That's what remains of life. We must confide freely in death as we would in a friend.

Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend.

Everyone calls himself a friend; foolish is he who believes it.

I'll trust my friend; My friend as in myself!!!

The only reward of virtue is virtue; The only way to have a friend is to be one.

A friend is one who "Multiplies Joys, divides Grief and whose honesty is inviolable."

A friend is "a volume of sympathy bound in cloth."

A friend is "a watch that beats true for all time and never runs down."
